Step-by-step instructions to cook Poha

Prep

Rinse the poha under running water until it becomes soft. Drain the water completely and set it aside.

Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.

Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and black urad dal. Let them splutter.

Add finely chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, and curry leaves. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
