Description

Our Spicy Chilli Powder (Mirchi Powder) is not just spice but a story of tradition, warmth, and the rich flavors of Karnataka. Sourced from the Byadgi region, this unique chili comes with a distinct wrinkled shape, deep red color, and adds a subtle heat that transforms any dish into a comforting masterpiece.

Recognizing its unique qualities, our Byadgi Chilli was awarded the GI Tag in 2011. While the Dabbi variety is smaller and stout, it forms an integral part of Ghee Roast Masala. So, what makes it so special?
a. It offers a subtle warmth with a hint of sweetness, perfect for those who prefer a milder spice level.
b. Adds a beautiful red color to your curries and dishes.
c. Ideal for everything from curries to roasts, it’s a true staple in any kitchen.

Sprinkle a little, as its one of those spices that don`t just heat up food, but add flavors from home.
The Two Brothers Byadgi Chilli is sourced directly from the Byadgi region, Haveri district of the state of Karnataka. Byadgi Chilli was accorded the GI Tag in 2011 for its distinct wrinkled shape, long size, deep red colour and characteristic low spicy-sweet flavour.

Byadagi Chillies of the Dabbi variety are small and stout in shape, lends a not-so spicy taste and rich red colour to curries. It has more seeds compared to the Kaddi variety but is less spicy and is one of the main ingredients of the Ghee roast masala that Karnataka is famous for!
